Welcome to Target Elite 1 Zehra Gemi!
Target Darts is proud to announce the signing of Zehra Gemi to the Elite 1 programme, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the most promising young talents in world darts.
Born on 14 July 2009 in Türkiye, Zehra, known as “White Wolf”, has already made history for her nation. In 2025, she became the first Turkish player to win a world title at the iconic WDF Lakeside World Darts Championship, securing the Girls World Championship crown on 8 December 2025. Her victory at Lakeside was a defining moment not only in her own career, but for Turkish darts as a whole.
Zehra’s journey in the sport began six years ago and her rise has been driven by discipline, structure and belief. Competing with 21 gram darts, her training schedule is carefully managed by her coach, with programmes tailored around her development and competition calendar. During busy periods, she trains up to four or five hours a day, sometimes completing double sessions, while adjusting intensity during lighter weeks to maintain balance and focus.
One of her proudest early memories came in June 2022 at the European Electronic Darts Championship, where she represented her country for the first time and threw the winning dart in the final against Germany. That moment signalled her arrival on the international stage and laid the foundation for the success that followed.
Her list of achievements continues to grow. Alongside her 2025 Lakeside Girls World Championship title, she has also claimed the 2028 Dutch Open Women Pairs title in Assen, further underlining her ability to perform on major stages across Europe.
Looking ahead to 2026, Zehra’s ambitions are clear. She is determined to build on her Lakeside triumph, target a top two ranking, and compete in and win the PDC Women’s Q School. Her mindset is simple and powerful. She wants to compete at the very top and win every tournament she enters.
When asked what joining Elite 1 means to her, Zehra described the opportunity as incredible and extraordinary. She sees it as a source of pride and a key step towards further success. Being the first player from her nation to join the Elite 1 programme is something she holds close, and she is excited to be part of an organisation filled with world class talent.
Zehra's has said Beau Greaves is her favourite player, admiring her professionalism and calm presence on stage. Off the oche, Zehra describes herself as helpful, emotional and strong, while others see her as cheerful, funny and helpful.
Affiliated with the Turkish Darts Federation and proudly representing her country, Zehra Gemi’s signing reflects Target Darts’ continued commitment to developing global talent and supporting the next generation of champions.
Welcome to the team, Zehra. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you as part of Target Darts Elite 1.
