KAYA BAYSAL
Kaya Baysal is one of the most exciting young talents emerging in the world of darts. Hailing from Burnley, Lancashire, Kaya’s journey began at just 11 years old — and in a remarkably short time, he has made a strong impression with his focus, consistency, and natural ability on the oche.
A dedicated and hardworking player, Kaya practices every day for 2–3 hours, refining his skills through various practice routines including his favourite game, 121. His commitment has already translated into impressive results, earning him a reputation as one of the brightest prospects in youth darts.
In 2025 alone, Kaya has collected multiple victories across the ADC Vault circuit — including titles in Burnley, Stockport, Bolton, Fleetwood, Nelson, and Rogues Bar — alongside international success at WDF events. Notably, he became the youngest ever winner of a WDF men’s event after triumphing at the Budapest Men’s Open, while also claiming titles at the Budapest Youth Open and Masters.
His achievements extend to strong performances in major youth tournaments, with semi-final finishes at the Youth Swiss Open, Youth England GP, and Youth Denmark Open. Kaya also earned his JDC Advanced Tour Card after finishing 2nd in the JDC Q School Order of Merit and represents the JDC England B Team in 2025.
Now joining Target Darts’ Elite 1 team, Kaya will continue to develop under the guidance of experienced mentors and access world-class equipment to support his growth. Known for his discipline, sportsmanship, and ambition, Kaya’s goals for 2025 include qualifying for Lakeside and representing England in Gibraltar — aspirations that seem well within reach for this young star.
Outside of darts, Kaya is a passionate football fan and can often be found supporting his hometown club, Burnley FC, at Turf Moor. Inspired by professional player Joe Cullen, Kaya embodies the determination and drive needed to reach the top levels of the sport.
With his rapid rise, impressive list of achievements, and unwavering dedication, Kaya Baysal is a player to watch — a rising star set to make his mark on the future of darts.
